Improvements: generate posts on demand, and a more reliable drafting voice

Two changes ship this round. In the Inbox, a new "Generate posts" button lets you request a fresh batch of drafts on demand instead of waiting for the next scheduled run — new drafts appear as they're ready, the same way automatic batches do. And Ballad now drafts using a built-in founder-essay voice preset instead of trying to learn your voice from samples, which turned out to be unreliable in production. Drafts come out more consistently as a result.

Generate posts on demand

Scheduled runs are fine until you've cleared them out and still want more. That used to mean waiting for the next batch. Now it doesn't.

There's a "Generate posts" button in the Inbox. Tap it when you're caught up and want fresh drafts right away. New posts show up as they're ready, the same way they do after an automatic scheduled run — no separate review flow to learn, just more drafts arriving in the same place you already check.

A more reliable drafting voice

We tried to have Ballad learn your writing voice from samples you gave it. In production, that didn't hold up reliably. So we've replaced it: Ballad now drafts from a built-in founder-essay voice preset instead of trying to reverse-engineer yours.

If you were relying on your own samples, that's gone — drafts now come from the preset for everyone. The tradeoff is worth it. Drafts generate more consistently, and faster, because Ballad isn't guessing at a voice model anymore. Nothing to turn on; it's the new default in the Inbox.
