Multi-user workspaces: bring your team into Ballad

Ballad now supports more than one person in a workspace. Send an invite link to bring teammates in, and switch between the workspaces you belong to from a switcher in the sidebar or mobile bar. You can hand ownership to another member, and once you're the last person left in a workspace, you can delete it. One behavioral note worth knowing up front: each teammate who joins gets their own voice for drafting automatically, so their writing doesn't default to yours.

Voices, per teammate

A workspace full of teammates doesn't help if everything still comes out sounding like the founder. So each part of a voice is now something you can actually shape.

When you create or edit a Collection, you assign which teammate's voice writes it, so a blog handed to a teammate reads like them, not like you. You can rename a voice by clicking the pencil on its page, typing the new name, and hitting Enter — it updates everywhere that name shows up. You can teach a voice your own words: terms you always or never use, distinctions that matter, writing samples. Ballad now weighs these over its default preset when it generates posts, threads, images, and articles in that voice. And a voice no longer needs a channel turned on to exist — leave every channel off, and it just stays quiet.

A few smaller things shipped alongside multi-user workspaces.

Onboarding can now draft your positioning from your homepage URL. Give Ballad the link and it reads your site to draft answers to the positioning questions in your own words, so you start from a draft instead of a blank form.

You can connect Google Search Console, reusing your existing sign-in, so your site's search rankings show up in Signals alongside engagement and AI-answer visibility.

Settings is now split into dedicated pages for Workspace, Account, Voices and Brand, plus one page per voice. Brand voice management is separated from personal voices, and each page uses a clearer single-column layout.

And we fixed image post text going unreadable over pale backgrounds: overlays now cover the full image with a stronger gradient and a soft shadow, and Ballad asks the image model for a background that matches the tone the text needs.
