What shipped
Post hooks are now punchier and shorter, and long-form articles are better paced.
Hooks for posts are shorter and hold back the payoff instead of giving the point away up front. Cliffhanger hooks are cut at the fold on purpose, so if one stops mid-thought, that's deliberate, not a truncation bug. Slack approvals cards now mark the strongest hook rather than just the first.
Essays and articles now vary in rhythm from start to finish. Sections have distinct roles and lengths, sentences alternate between long and short, and a final pass smooths out any flat stretches.
Anything to know
There's nothing to turn on. New post drafts arrive with the shorter hooks, and new essays and articles arrive with the varied pacing. In Slack approvals, the hook marked on each card is now the strongest one, not just the first one listed.
