Signals now tracks AI-answer visibility, plus a rebuilt Content studio and MCP support for agents

Three things shipped in this release. Signals now tracks how often AI assistants mention or cite you when people ask questions in your space, and compares that visibility to competitors. Content was rebuilt as a studio, built around a calendar, a queue, and one Generate button. And you can now connect AI agents to your workspace through MCP, using scoped keys or OAuth, so tools like Claude can read, draft, and publish under the same approval rules as the app.

What's new

AI-answer visibility, in Signals. Signals now tracks how often AI assistants mention or cite you when people ask questions in your space, and compares that visibility to your competitors. It flags the specific questions where a competitor gets cited and you don't, and you can target any of those gaps to spin up an effort aimed at closing it. This data now feeds into Ballad's overall read on your business.

Content, rebuilt as a studio. The Content page now opens on a calendar — a 6-week Sunday-to-Saturday view you can scroll forward through — showing what's scheduled and published. Posts and articles appear as tables with real engagement or traffic numbers, and each row has one actions menu (Review, Post, Publish, View, Republish) instead of scattered buttons. Generating anything now runs through a single 'Generate content' dialog that moves through Queued → Drafting → Voice check → Ready for review in real time; close it and it keeps running in the background.

MCP support for agents. You can issue scoped agent keys or sign in with OAuth so tools like Claude can read, draft, and publish inside your workspace under the same approval rules as the app, including submitting full articles with images.

Brand voice. You can now add a company account (X/LinkedIn) that posts as "we," separate from the founder's own voice.

Today is now Inbox, rebuilt around daily triage: what to post today, what to approve, plan decisions, and what shipped this week, all reviewed through one shared modal whether you open it from Inbox, Content, or a shared link. Loop is now a living briefing with editable positioning and ICP, a loop-ring showing where you are in the cycle, and a Re-synthesize option. Signals opens on a live world map instead of lists. Hacker News, Reddit, and Product Hunt are now on-demand launch channels, and Ballad also drafts replies to relevant Hacker News threads for you to post by hand — nothing goes out automatically. Your public hub can now show your latest published articles. Slack notifications are more reliable, with clearer buttons and real error messages. Settings is now one page, with workspace rename, a timezone override that reflows scheduled posts, and a one-click copy for the MCP connection URL.
