Connect Slack
Approve drafts, see threads worth joining and ask Ballad questions from a channel — with quiet hours, so nothing arrives while you're asleep.
Connect Slack and Ballad comes to you. Drafts arrive in a channel with the same buttons the Inbox has, threads worth joining show up while they're still open, and you can ask Ballad a question without opening it at all.
It takes about two minutes and needs no configuration on Slack's side.
1. Connect it
In Ballad: Settings → Notifications → Connect Slack. Slack asks which workspace and which channel to post in, you approve, and you're back in Ballad.
Pick the channel deliberately. Most founders use a private one — this is your drafts and your numbers, not team chatter. A channel you'll actually look at beats one you mute in a week.
Ballad asks for two permissions: post messages, and post to the channel you choose. It can't read your conversations.
2. Check it works
The same row has Send test, which posts a card to the channel. If you already have drafts waiting, Send pending drafts pushes them through so you can try the buttons on something real.

Decisions made in Slack are decisions in Ballad — the card updates to say what happened and who did it, and the Inbox agrees. If several conversations are worth joining at once you get one digest rather than a stream of cards.
Ask Ballad from Slack

The answer comes back in the channel, drawn from your own workspace data, with the same citations Ask Ballad gives you in the app. It can draft; it can't publish, approve, or change the plan.
Quiet hours
Set them in the same place, in your own timezone. Nothing arrives inside them — no drafts, no conversation cards, no nudges. Anything that would have been sent waits and arrives when the window opens.
Quiet hours belong to you, not to a channel: a brand post at 2am stays quiet too.
Disconnecting
Disconnect in the same row. Ballad stops posting immediately; nothing in the channel is deleted, and nothing in your workspace changes — the Inbox was always the source of truth.
